Mayur Patel, MD
Dr. Mayur Patel is a fellowship-trained outpatient general neurologist with a specialization in traumatic brain injury (TBI) and sports-related neurological disorders. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology, the Gold Humanism Honor Society, and the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.
Dr. Patel completed neurology residency training at Dell Medical School at the University of Texas - Austin, serving as chief resident during his senior year. The same year, he also earned the Resident Teacher of the Year Award. Subsequently, he completed fellowship training in Sports Neurotrauma at the University of Florida. He attended medical school Mcgovern Medical School at the University of Texas - Houston. He earned his B.S. in Molecular Biology at the University of Texas - Dallas, graduating Summa Cum Laude.
